RESOLUTION NO. 793
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT REAFFIRMING ITS COMMITMENT TO FUND TO MEADOWLARK WATER
RECLAMATION FACILITY AND THE UPGRADES AND
MODIFICATIONS TO THE MAHR RESERVOIR SITE OF
THE VALLECITOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad MI
Water District approved the Encina Basin Water Reclamation
- Phase I Program; Facilities Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad MI
Water District authorize the Executive Manager to exel
agreement with Vallecitos County Water District for the
reclaimed water to Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District, thrc
agreement for the sale of reclaimed water to the Distri
agreed to fund certain improvements to the Vallecitos Mez
Water Reclamation Facility and Mahr Reservoir; and
WHEREAS, these certain improvements are necessary as c
in the Encina Basin Water Reclamation Project - Phase I I
Facilities Plan and are estimated to cost $900,000; and
WHEREAS, the State Water Resources Control Board low-j
loan application includes monies for these modifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Carlsbad Municipi
District Board of Directors as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
