RESOLUTION NO. 802
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
EMERGENCY ACTION TAKEN BY STAFF FOR
RECLAIMED WATER LINE
WHEREAS, staff was required to respond immediately to situation calling
construction of a portion of the Palomar Airport Road reclaimed water pipeline, I

8 scheduled for the Price Club developer; and
in front of the Price Club property, in order to avoid conflict with the consti
9 WHEREAS, staff has exercised the option to proceed with the construction

section of pipeline as allowed under the Emergency Section of the Purchasing
12
Section 3.28.204; and
13 ll WHEREAS, construction of the reclaimed water pipeline in this area wil
14 the city to avoid destroying and replacing a significant amount of median and lands
15 in the Palomar Airport Road center median, thereby avoiding significant future
16 and

WHEREAS, that the Board of Directors find that the actions of the :
ordering the construction of this section of the pipeline was both necessary and

21 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors hereby a5
