A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FOR
APPROVAL OF BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT MADE BY LAFCO IN
DECEMBER 1993, ADJUSTING THE BOUNDARY OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT TO COINCIDE WITH THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD BOUNDARY - CMWD PROJECT NO. 92-106
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Di,

to coincide with the City of Carlsbad Boundary; and 8
a boundary adjustment in December 1993, adjusting the boundary of Carlsbad Municipal Wa
9 WHEREAS, in January 1993, the Vista Irrigation District, lead agency, su
10
annexation of certain properties to the Vista Irrigation District, City of Oceanside, Vallecitos Wal 11
reorganization which involved the dissolution of the Bueno Colorado Municipal Water Distric
15
with City of Carlsbad boundaries; and 14
WHEREAS, the reasons for the annexation are: Reorganize District boundaries t 13
and Carlsbad Municipal Water District; and 12
indebtedness of this District; and 17
WHEREAS, the affected territory will not be taxed for existing generz 16
WHEREAS, the regular county assessment rolls are utilized by this District; a
18 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors agrees with LAFCO findings pursuant to a
19 boundary adjustments; and
20 WHEREAS, the Vista Irrigation District as lead agency prepared a negative dec
21
been completed at no cost to the District and will have no financial impact on the District; 22
the Reorganization of the Bueno Colorado Municipal Water District, and this boundary adjus

1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the

as shown in Exhibs '1' and as described by Parcel Nos. in Exhibit '2', attached hereto and ma 3
Municipal Water District of Carlsbad, California, hereby approves the orders by IAFCO that thc
Water District held on 8th day of FEBRUARYl92, by the following vote, to wit: 7
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Carlsbad I 6
