A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE AGREEMENT
WHICH CREATES THE ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA WATER
AGENCIES HEALTH BENEFITS AUTHORITY.

Water District has considered the contract document entitled “Joir

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal
Exercise of Powers Agreement Creating the Association of
10 j/ California Water Agencies Health Benefits Authority” and finds it i

the best interest of the District to become a party to said
agreement and to obtain health benefits coverage for the eligible
l3 /j employees and dependents of the District in the manner and for the

16 WHEREAS, a complete and true copy of said Agreement is on
considerations provided by the Agreement; and

19 I! NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors oi
20 the Carlsbad Municipal Water District, as follows: I1

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Agreement referred to in the recitals above is

Water District will obtain health benefits coverage, effective 26
3. That the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal 25
incorporated in this resolution by reference.

4 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the
5 Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District held on
