RESOLUTION NO. 887
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FOR
APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO
PUBLISH AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR RECOATING THE LA
COSTA LO AND SKYLINE STEEL TANK RESERVOIRS, CMWD PROJECT
NO. 94-102, CONTRACT NO. 3425

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of
California, has determined it necessary and in the public interest to approve recoating the La Co:
Skyline Reservoirs and to authorize publishing an advertisement for bids; and
WHEREAS, funds appropriated in the 1994195 Budget for Reservoir Rehabilitati
in the amount of $200,000 are available; and
l1 I/ WHEREAS, plans and specifications for recoating the interior of the La Cos

Skyline Reservoirs have been prepared by the Carlsbad Municipal Water District engineering :
cost estimate of $200,000 and are on file in the Engineering Department of the Carlsbad Munic
District; and
WHERWS, authorization is hereby granted by the Board of Directors to F
Invitation to Bid in accordance with Section 3.28.120 of the Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications and cost estimate of $200,000 submit
Carlsbad Municipal Water District engineering staff which are on file with the Carlsbad Munic
District Engineering Department are incorporated herein by reference and are accepted.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Carlsbad
Water District held on the 6th day of DECEMBEP1994, by the following vote, to wit:
