RESOLUTION NO. 913
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL MANAGER TO
TRAVEL TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA TO ATTEND THE COLORADO
RIVER WATER USERS ASSOCIATION 1995 CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the Colorado River Water Users Association 1995 Cor
holding its 1995 Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 6 - 8, 1995; i
WHEREAS, the Colorado River Water Users Association is made up o
of the seven basin states and deals with all issues concerning the Colorado
the Colorado River Board, and;
WHEREAS, the Colorado River Board works closely with, and advise
Bureau of Reclamation, operators of the dams situated the river, and;
WHEREAS, San Diego County presently receives 90% of its imported
the Colorado River and it is important to keep abreast of the latest issues con(
river, especially issues that concern San Diego County and the City of Carlsba
future conservation efforts as may be required by another dry winter in Cali
