A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS
AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR RECOATING âCâ AND
ELLERY STEEL TANK RESERVOIRS, PROJECT NO. 95-1 07,
I CONTRACT N0.3488A

6 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water Di:
7 previously authorized the advertisement for bids for recoating the Tâ and Ellc
8 Tank Reservoirs, CMWD Project No. 95-107, Contract No. 3488A; and,
9 WHEREAS, four (4) sealed bids were received on May 16, 1996, for saic

WHEREAS, all bid documents received from all bidders have been rev 12
13 detail and the Board of Directors does hereby find the lowest responsive, respon
14 received for the construction of said project was submitted by Techno Coatings, Ir
l5 amount of $31 5,268.00.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directc
l7 11 Carlsbad Municipal Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:

19 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
20 2. That the bid amount in the amount $315,268.00, submitted bl

contract thereafter. The award of contract is contingent upon the Contractor SI 22
Coatings, Inc. is hereby, accepted, and the President is hereby authorized to e
23 11 the required bonds and insurance policies, as described in the contract, within tw~
24 11 /I of this award. Reasonable extensions of time may be granted by the Executive r 25
