RESOLUTION NO. 949
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
VARIOUS SIZES OF WATER METERS
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District desires to purchase a number
meters; and
WHEREAS, bid proposals were submitted by five vendors and judged agains
criteria.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Board of Directors of the C
Municipal Water District, Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. That the bid of Schlumberger Industries, Inc., 25283 Cabot Road #221,
Hills, CA 92653 for Items #I, 2, 3, 4 and 5 as shown on Exhibit '2", is hereby accepi
the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to execute a purchase order for the purcl
water meters as may be required for the period of one year beginning July 1, 1996 '
June 30, 1997. This contract may be renewed by the City Manager for three (3) additio,

2. That the bid of Sensus Technologies Inc., 450 North Gallatin Avenue, Unic
PA 15401 for Items #6 and 7 as shown on Exhibit "2", is hereby accepted and the Pur(
