A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, FOR APPROVAL OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE
NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR THE RECOATING OF THE “Dl”,
”DZ, ”E”, AND ELM RESERVOIRS, CMWD PROJECT NO. 97-
109-CONTRACT NOS. 35351 AND 35291
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water Dis
Carlsbad, California, has determined it necessary and in the public interest to approve the
and specifications and to authorize an advertisement for notice inviting bids for the Recoa
the “Dl”,”D2”,”E”, AND ELM Reservoirs, CMWD Project No. 97-109-Contract Nos. 353:
35291; and
WHEREAS, funds appropriated in the I997198 Fiscal Year Budget for
facility upgrades in the amount of $640,000 are available; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for “Dl”,”D2”,”E”, and Elm Res
Recoating, CMWD Project No. 97-109, have been prepared by the Carlsbad Municipal
District engineering staff with a cost estimate of $640,000, which includes $50,0
construction inspection services, and are on file in the Engineering Department of the Cz
Municipal Water District; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
Carlsbad Municipal Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
I 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. I
2. That the plans and specifications and cost estimate of $6
