RESOLUTION NO. 1013
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING WATER
TRANSFER AGREEMENT WITH THE IMPERIAL
IRRIGATION DISTRICT AND SAN DIEGO COUNTY
WATER AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, the IID and the Water Authority share any shortage on a pro rata I
WHEREAS, this agreement satisfies the environmental concerns, that Imperial
25 11 farmers’ participation must be at least 130,000 acre-feetlyear; and
26 WHEREAS, this agreement is approved by the proper federal and state agencie
27 that the CWA secures an acceptable wheeling rate for transportation of the conserved T.

2. CMWD supports the water transfer agreement between IID and CWA.
