RESOLUTION NO. 1083
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FOR APPROVAL AND AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARATION AND PRELIMINARY AND FINAL ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR
WATER PIPELINE, CITY PROJECT NO. 3622, AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS.
AGREEMENT WITH KIMLEY-HORN & ASSOCIATES FOR
FARADAY AVENUE 16-INCH POTABLE AND 8-INCH RECYCLED
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of
California, has determined it necessary and in the public interest to enter into an agre
file in the City Clerk's Office between Kimley-Horn & Associates and the City of
California, City Project No. 3622; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works-Design Division requested multiple I
for the road and sewer project; and
WHEREAS, Kimley-Horn & Associates was selected as having the most c
proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of
California, approves and authorizes the execution of an agreement for Environment
Report preparation and preliminary and final engineering design for the Faraday Avenu
potable and 8-Inch recycled water pipeline; and
WHEREAS, the project was not budgeted in the 1999-2000 Capital Improvemenl
and requires an additional appropriation for the project in the amount of $97,210 from 1
Connection Fee Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Municipal Water District, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate additional func
amount of $97,210 from the Water Connection Fee Fund for the Faraday Avenue Vi
Project.
