RESOLUTION NO. 1103
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE APPLICATION TO OBTAIN A REBATE FROM THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY’S RECLAIMED WATER DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR THE ENCINA BASIN WATER RECLAMATION PROGRAM, PHASE II PROJECT (PHASE II).
WHEREAS, the CMWD has an existing agreement with the San Diego County Water
Authority to obtain a $100 per acre-foot rebate for its Encina Basin Water Reclamation Project,
Phase I; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to include the Phase II Project in the agreement by requesting an
amendment to the existing agreement to include the Phase II Project; and
WHEREAS, an application is required to be submitted to obtain a rebate for the Phase II
Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal
Water District (CMWD) of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That an application for a minimum rebate in the amount of $100 per acre-foot is
authorized to be submitted to the San Diego County Water Authority.
3. That the final rebate agreement shall be submitted to the Board of Directors for
final approval prior to execution of the rebate agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District held on the 3rd day of October 9 2000 by the following vote, to wit:
