RESOLUTION NO. 1154
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT APPOINTING A MEMBER
TO THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the term of the existing Director of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District as
representative to the San Diego County Water Authority expires on June 16, 2002; and
WHEREAS, a majority of the Board of Directors can appoint a representative to serve for
, new term to expire June 16,2008; and
WHEREAS, no member of the Board of Directors may appoint or vote for his or her own
lppointment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
Aunicipal Water District, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Director CLAUDE A. LEWIS is appointed to represent the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Water Authority for a
term due to expire on June 16, 2008, or until a successor is appointed and qualified.

That the Secretary is hereby directed and authorized to deliver a certified copy of this
resolution forthwith to the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Water
Authority.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Board of Directors of
he Carlsbad Municipal Water District held on the 4th day of JUNE , 2002 by
