2 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT,
3 CONCURRING WITH THE FY 2011-12 MASTER FEE
4 SCHEDULE.

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District
6
(CMWD) has the authority to establish fees for CMWD services; and
7
WHEREAS, from time-to-time said fees are reviewed and evaluated to maintain8
an adequate fee structure recovering costs for CMWD services; and
WHEREAS, the CMWD Board of Directors has determined the cost of providing
11 general and development-related services; and
12 WHEREAS, the CMWD Board of Directors finds it necessary to recover the costs
13 for such services; and
14 WHEREAS, the CMWD Board of Directors has held the necessary public hearing
and allowed for public comment on the establishment of CMWD fees.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the

Carlsbad Municipal Water District, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
20 2. That the CMWD Board of Directors concurs with the FY 2011-2012 Master
21 Fee Schedule adopted by the City Council.
22 3. This resolution shall become effective September 1, 2011 for the
23 Development-impact fees.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the
2 Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors, Carlsbad City Council and
Carlsbad Housing and Redevelopment Commission, held on the 26th day of July, 2011,

by the following vote to wit:

AYES: Board Members Hall, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
