CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA
^ (CMWD), CONTINUING PUBLIC HEARING FOR
. ADOPTING THE WATER DISTRICT FINAL OPERATING
BUDGET AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR
5 FISCAL YEAR 2015-16.

WHEREAS, on May 19 and on June 9, 2015, the City Council set the June 23,
2015 date for the Public Hearing for adopting the Water District operating budget and
capital improvement program for fiscal year 2015-16 for the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing notification was unable to be timely published in the
2j Union Tribune as required by Government Code sections 66014, 66016, 66018 and
12 6062(a); and
13 WHEREAS, the adoption date for this item should be continued to June 30, 2015,
14 to meet publication requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors ofthe Carlsbad
Municipal Water District, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District,
California continue the Public Hearing to June 30, 2015.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting ofthe Carlsbad Municipal
Water District Board of Directors, Carlsbad City Council, Carlsbad Community Development
Commission, City of Carlsbad as Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency and Carlsbad
Public Financing Authority, on the 23'^'' day of 2015, by the following vote to wit:
