2 A RESOLUTION QF THE BOARD QF DIRECTORS QF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT (CMWD), ACCEPTING THE
CONSTRUCTION QF THE LA COSTA RECYCLED WATER PIPEUNE,
4 PRQJECT NQ. 5207, AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE
SECRETARY TQ RECORD A NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND RELEASE
5 BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW AND CITY
ORDINANCES.
WHEREAS, the construction ofthe La Costa Recycled Water Pipeline was completed to
the Carisbad Municipal Water District's (CMWD) satisfaction by Ortiz Corporation on
Aug. 21, 2015; and
11 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
12 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CaHsbad Municipal Water District Board of
the City of CaHsbad, California, as follows that:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the La Costa Recycled Water Pipeline, specifically identified as
18 Project No. 5207, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the Board of Directors of the
19 CMWD ofthe City of Carlsbad.
3. That the Secretary ofthe Board is hereby authoHzed and directed to execute and
record the Notice of Completion forthe La Costa Recycled Water Pipeline, Project No. 5207.
