RESOLUTION NO. 1541
OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT (CMWDL ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
NORTHWEST STORM DRAIN, MISC. WATER VALVE REPLACEMENT,
PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT, VILLAGE DECORATIVE LIGHTING
(GRAND AVENUEL PROJECT NOS. 6608, 5019, 6001 & 4016, AS
COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE SECRETARY TO RECORD A NOTICE
OF COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
STATE LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

WHEREAS, the construction of the Northwest Storm Drain, Misc. Water Valve
Replacement, Pavement Management, Village Decorative Lighting (Grand Avenue) was
completed to the Carlsbad Municipal Water District's (CMWD) satisfaction by Palm Engineering
Construction Company, Inc. on Sept. 22, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Northwest Storm Drain, Misc. Water Valve Replacement, Pavement
Management, Village Decorative Lighting (Grand AvenueL specifically identified as Project Nos.
6608, 5019, 6001 & 4016 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the Board of Directors
of the CMWD of the City of Carlsbad.
3. That the Secretary of the Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute and
record the Notice of Completion for the Northwest Storm Drain, Misc. Water Valve
Replacement, Pavement Management, Village Decorative Lighting (Grand AvenueL Project Nos.
6608, 5019, 6001 & 4016.
