1 RESOLUTION NO. 1553
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
3 MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT,CALIFORNIA (CMWD),APPROVING
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FY 2015-16 OPERATING AND CAPITAL
4 BUDGETS.
5 WHEREAS,funding reallocations for recycled water projects requires a combined
6 increase of $3,755,706 to the Recycled Water Fund capital appropriations for the Avenida Encinas
7
Recycled Water Main ($3,417,406) and the Recycled Water Main in El Camino Real to La Costa
8
Avenue ($338,300) projects, and respective decreases in the Water Replacement Fund capital
9
10 appropriations.
11 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
12 Municipal Water District as follows:

1.That the above recitations are true and correct.

2.That the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District does
15
hereby authorize capital project funding reallocations increasing appropriations from the16
17 Recycled Water Fund for the Avenida Encinas Recycled Water Main ($3,417,406)and the
18 Recycled Water Main in El Camino Real to La Costa Avenue ($338,300) projects, and decreasing
19 the appropriations in the Water Replacement Fund, respectively.

1 PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the Carlsbad
2 City Council,Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors,Carlsbad Public Financing
3 Authority Board of Directors,Community Development Commission,and City of Carlsbad as
4
Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency,held on the 28th day of June,2016,by the
5
6 following vote to wit:

8 AYES:Hall, Wood, Schumacher, Blackburn, Packard.
9 NOES:None.
