RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OP CARLSBAD AWARDING
$1 535,000 BONDS OP SAID DISTRICT TO
THE BEST BIDDER AND REJECTING ALL
OTHER BIDS.
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the
opening of bids for the $1,535,000 bonds of The Carlsbad
Parking Authority designated "I969 Parking Revenue Bonds"
are numbered 1 to 307, inclusive, all bids were publicly
opened, examined and read, and a tabulation thereof has
been entered in the minutes; and
TOEREAS, the bid of the bidder hereinafter named
is the best bid made by a responsible bidder for said bonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parking Authority of The
City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
Section 1. That the bid of Security Pacific
National Bank as agent for Biyth & Co., Inc. offering:

and accrued Interest to date of delivery for said
bonds bearing interest payable annually the first
year and semiannually thereafter at the rate(s) of;

6 % 19 71 to 19 78
6.20 ^ 19 79 to 19 81
6.25 % 19 82 to 19 84
6.30 _^ 19 85 to 19 86
6.35 % 19.81 to 19 89
6.40 7o 1 9 90 to 19 95
is the bid for said bonds yielding the lowest net Interest
cost. Said bid is hereby accepted and the bonds awarded to
said best bidder in accordance with the terms of the pro-
posal .
Section 2. That all bids other than the one
accpeted 3n Section 1 hereof are rejected and the Secretary
of the district is directed to return the check accompany-
ing said rejected bids to the respective bidders.
Section 3. That the interest rate(s) on said
bonds is (are) hereby fixed at the rate(s) stated in
Section 1 hereof.
Section 4. That the Treasurer of the district
is hereby directed to deliver said bonds to the successful
bidder upon payment therefor and accrued interest, if any,
to the date of delivery.

I, Margaret E. Adams, Clerk of the Parking
Authority of the City of Carlsbad, California, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Parking Authority of said City and was approved by the
Chairman of said Parking Authority at a special meeting of
said Parking Authority held on the 23rdday of September
, 1969, and that it was adopted by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Directors Snedeker, Cannon and Killen.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Directors Daugherty and Sugg
