AN ORDINANCE OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER. DISTRICT
ANNEXING CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, TO BE KNOWN AS
THE "SQUIRE'S DAM - TANK SITE ANNEXATION", PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL WATER. DISTRICT LAW OF 191: OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

WHEREAS, heretofore proceedings were instituted by the B oard of
Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District, pursuant to the
Municipal Water District Law of 191 1, the pertinent sections being
Sections 72370 through 72526, inclusive, of the Water Code of the State
of California, for the annexation to the Carlsbad Municipal Water Distric
of those certain parcels of real property situated in the County of San Dil
State of California, more particularly known and described in Exhibit "A
and Exhibit "BI', which exhibits are attached hereto and made a part her1
by reference;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR
OF THE CAR.LSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby determined that all proceedings
of 191 1" for the annexation of uninhabited territory have been
duly and regularly had and performed.

SECTION 2. It is hereby determined that no protest was made
by the owners of one-half of the value of the territory sought
to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll
of the County of San Diego, or by public and private owners
equal to one-half of the value of the territory sought to be
annexed as determined by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
Municipal Water District.
SECTION 3. That the real property described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" attached hereto, is hereby annexed to the
Carlsbad Municipal Water District and made a partthereof, to be known as "Squire's Dam-Tank Site Annexation" addition to the Carlsbad Municipal Water District.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its adoption by the Board of Directors.
SECTION 5. The president and secretary of the Board of Direct of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District are hereby directed to
a certified copy of this ordinance with the Secretary of State, in
compliance of Chapter 5, Article 6, of the Municipal Water Dist Law of 1911.

Carlsbad Municipal Water District, this 21st day of September, 1965, 1:
