Scope of Work
Consultant shall, on an as -needed basis, perform the following:
1. Field Density Tests during rough grading and storm drain
backfill per ASTM (D -1556, D-2937, D-2922) Standards.
2. Three "R"-Value Tests to determine the structural section
of the road per California Test Method 301.
3. Tests on base material per ASTM (D -1557,D-422, D-2419)
Standards.
4. Prepare and submit reports at the completion of:
A. Rough Grading
B. Storm Drain Backfill
C. 11 R11 -Value Test
D. Subgrade and Base Construction
5. A copy of the field report shall be submitted to the City
after each field test.
Schedule
Work shall begin at the start of construction and continue during
the construction period.
Payment
Progress payments shall be made on the basis of test performed and
per attached Exhibit "A".
