Executive Summary
To request feedback from the Arts Commissioners on the draft of the workplan.
Discussion
The City Council has requested that all city boards and commissions prepare an annual workplan. Arts
Commission Chair Laurenn Barker, Arts Commissioner Tina Schmidt, Cultural Arts Manager Richard Schultz
and Senior Office Specialist Sandra Riggins met and created a first draft of the workplan. Arts
Commissioners will be asked for their feedback.
Fiscal Analysis
No additional city funding is being requested at this time.
Next Steps
Cultural Arts staff and the workplan committee will work on a revision of the workplan based on the Arts
Commissioners’ feedback and will present the updated document at the May meeting.

This document was noticed in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code
Section 54950 et. Seq.), published and distributed at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.
