Recommended Action

Executive Summary
To request feedback from the Arts Commissioners on documents in support of the Community Arts Grants
process.
Discussion
The Arts Commissioners previously received the following documents to review: Community Arts Grants
guidelines, application questions and scoring rubric. Cultural Arts Manager Richard Schultz and
Community Arts Coordinator Megan Gilby will request feedback on the documents and will provide an
updated timeline for review.
Fiscal Analysis
No additional city funding is being requested at this time.
Next Steps
Cultural Arts staff and the Grants Committee will work on revisions based on the Arts Commissioners’
feedback and will present updated documents at a future meeting.

This document was noticed in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code
