Recommended Action
Staff recommends approval of the Community Arts Grant timeline for 2020.
Executive Summary
This report provides an update on the guidelines and timeline for the upcoming 2020 Community Arts
Grant cycle.
Discussion
Community Arts Coordinator Megan Gilby will present an update on the guidelines for the upcoming
Community Arts Grants cycle. Based on a recent meeting of the grants subcommittee, the guidelines
detail several new aspects including a revised timeline for 2020, an expanded staff review process and a
question and answer session for applicants with the grants panel.
Fiscal Analysis
No additional city funding is being requested at this time.
Next Steps
Staff will incorporate feedback from the Arts Commissioners and launch the new Community Arts Grants
cycle.
