Executive Summary
This report provides an update on recent performing arts programs, TGIF Concerts in the Parks and guest
artist residency.
Discussion
Community Arts Coordinator Megan Gilby will present a recap of the 2019 TGIF Concerts in the Parks
including new audience data. She will also summarize the events and activities during the recent guest
artist residency with Ken Waldman, Alaska’s fiddler poet, from Oct. 8-12.
Fiscal Analysis
No additional city funding is being requested at this time.
Next Steps
Arts Commissioners are invited to provide feedback on the programs presented at the meeting.
