CITY MGR Improvement District (CTBID) Board of Directors RECOMMENDED ACTION: The Board needs to elect a new Vice-Chair ofthe Carlsbad Business Improvement District (CTBID). ITEM EXPLANATION: At its May 18, 2010 Board meeting, the CTBID Board elected Tim Stripe as Chair and Bill Canepa as Vice Chair of the CTBID Board. The Board approved a two year term for Board Chair and an initial one year term for Vice Chair. The one year term for Vice Chair is now up and the Board needs to elect a Board member to the position for a two year term. A suggested process for electing officers is attached at Exhibit 1. FISCAL IMPACT: None. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: This action does not approve any projects that will have a physical adverse affect on the environment so it falls within the general rule under CEQA that this is not a project (CEQA Regulation 153789(b)).
