RECOMMENDED ACTION:
The Board needs to elect a new Chair of the Carisbad Business Improvement District (CTBID).
ITEM EXPLANATION:
At its May 18, 2010 Board meeting, the CTBID Board elected Tim Stripe as Chair ofthe CTBID
Board. The Board approved a two year term for Board Chair. The two year tenn for Chair is
now up and the Board needs to elect a Board member to the posifion for a two year temi. A
suggested process for electing officers is attached at Exhibit 1.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
This action does not approve any projects that will have a physical adverse affect on the
environment so it falls within the general rule under CEQA that this is not a project (CECaA
Regulafion 163789(b)).
