TITLE : RESOLUTION ADOPTING OWNER PARTICIPATION RULES
INITIATED BY: Director of Housing and Redevelopement
BACKGROUND:
The Community Redevelopment Law requires that the Commission adopt rules providing for participation by owners and tenants prior to adoption of a redevelopment plan. The Redevelopment staff has
Redevelopment Project Area Committee review (See Redevelopment formulated a set of proposed rules and subjected them to Village
Coordinator's memo, Exhibit I). In addition,the rules were provided to Council for advance review on December 18, 1979.
The proposed rules afford existing owners and tenants the opportunity

The Village Redevelopment Project Area Committee has recommended approval with two minor changes. Staff has reviewed the changes and recommends that only one of them be made (See exhibit I) in order to ensure legal clarity.
