On April 29, 1980, the City Council authorized the firm of George A. Peterson, & Co.,
to analyze z'ecords and reports maintained since July 1, 1978. As a part of this
effort they were charged with preparing documents to close-out the Section 23 program.
As a result it was found that the Carlsbad Housing Authority had received an
overpayment of HUD Contributions in the amount of $11,767. (See attached HUD Form
52981)
It is now necessary to reimburse HUD in the amount of the overpayment.

FlNANCIAL STATEMENT - Funds are available in the balance of the Section 23 Housing
programs accounts.

Authorize the treasure to issue appropriatp warrants for payment to the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $11,767.
