RECOMMENDED ACTION:
If Housing and RedevelopmentI~~ommission concurs your action is to adopt Resolution No. approving the operating budget for the Housing Authority Voucher Program for Fiscal Year 1989-90.
This a sub-budget of the Housing Authority Section 8 Housing
Assistance Program. The Voucher system of supplemental housing assistance was approved in March 1986.
Federal Housing and Urban Development Regulations require that the Housing and Redevelopment Commission officially approve the annual operating budget for the Housing Voucher Program system of assistance. This is the same budget adopted by the City Council at their June 27, 1989, meeting. This action merely assures compliance with the Federal regulations.
This is the same budget ($ 114,385 ) previously adopted by
City Council at their meeting of June 27, 1989, by separate action. Funds for the Housing Voucher Program are directly from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989-90 FOR THE HOUSING
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission of the
City of Carlsbad, has reviewed the operating budget of the
Housing Authority Voucher Program for Fiscal Year 1989-90.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and
Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the operating budget for the Housing Authority
Voucher Program in the amount of $ 114,385 , attached hereto
and identified as Exhibit A is hereby adopted as the
operating budget for Fiscal Year 1989-90.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Housing and Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad,
California, on the 18th day of July , 1989, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
