APPROVAL/RATIFYING SUBMISSION OF THE
APPLICATION FOR SECTION 8 HOUSING
VOUCHERS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
ACC ADDING PROJECT NO. CA-16-V077-006
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt w Resolution No. d 39 approving/ratifying the submission of an application for
additional Section 8 Housing units and authorizing the Housing and Redevelopment Director to
execute Annual Contributions Contract (ACC) adding Project No. CA-l 6-VO77-006.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On August 17, 1993, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission approved submittal of an
application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for additional Section 8
Housing units.
On October 5, 1993, the Housing and Redevelopment Department received notification from the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that the request for additional units had
been approved. An Annual Contribution Contract in the amount of $140,285 has been reserved for
this application. This amount includes $126,158 to subsidize seventeen (17) additional households
and $14,127 for Administrative expenses.
HUD Counsel will prepare and forward the Annual Contributions Contract for this project after the
resolution ratifying submission of the application and authorizing its execution has been approved.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will receive $140,285 annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development for seventeen (17) additional Section 8 Housing Vouchers. This amount includes
$14,127 in Administrative Fees. There will be no impact to the General Fund.

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING/RATIFYING SUBMISSION OF THE
APPLICATION FOR SECTION 8 HOUSING VOUCHERS AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS
CONTRACT ADDING PROJFCT NO. CA 16 VO77-006 - -
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission of the City of
Carlsbad, (“PHA”) desires to enter into an Annual Contributions Contract (“ACC”) with
the United States of America (“Government”) for the Section 8 Existing Housing
Voucher Program; and
WHEREAS, the Notification of Approval for the FY 1993 Fair Share
Allocation, providing funding for the Section 8 Housing Voucher Program Project No. ._ .-.-. - ; -, :- - ‘r -.,r<rq :-o~:---;rl .,,,, - -- , CA-l 6-VO77-006, has been received. .- -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing and
Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
