RECOMME?UDED ACTION:
City Clerk administer oath of office to new Board of Directors.
EXPLANATION ITEM
The first activity of the new Board of Directors will.be to take an oath of office as follows:
I, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic: that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of United States and the Constitution of the State of California: that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter.
In addition, written copies are required to be signed and filed at the District office.
