(-IWp - AGENDA B&l - TITLE: APPROVAL OF REIMBURSEMENT TO SOLAMAR ESTATES MOBILE HOME PARK FOR OVER-SIZING OF PIPELINE (10' LINE VERSUS 8" LINE) CMWD PROJECT NO. 88-201 Adopt Resolution No. 7&B for approval of a reimbursement for over-sizing of a 10" water line versus an 8" water line. I ITEM EXPLANATION Solamar Homeowners Association, owners of the subject project, recently installed a water line to meet the fire flow demands in the Solamar Estates Mobile Home Park. Solamar Estates Mobile Home Park required an 8" water line to meet the fire flow demand as established by the Fire Marshal. The District required a 10" water line for future looping to the south as shown in the District's Potable Water Master Plan. As a result, Solamar is requesting a reimbursement for costs of the 10" water line versus an 8" water line. The Water Commissioner's recommend to the Board of Directors that the request for reimbursement for the costs of a 10" water line versus an 8" water line installed in the Solamar Estates Mobile Home Park be approved. I FISCAL IMPACT Should the monies be reimbursed to Solamar for the over-sizing, an amount of $9,941.00 would be paid from the major facility charge fund. There is approximately $6,351,000 in the fund at this time, therefore, there. are sufficient funds available for this reimbursement. EXHIBITS 1. Location Map. 2.
