for Donation of CMWD Office Trailer
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Make a donation of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District’s surplus office/trailer.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
This Carlsbad Municipal Water District a enda bill is a companion Agenda Bill to
City of Carlsbad Agenda Bill No . !,y~& /
In July of this year, Caring Residents of Carlsbad made a written request to the City
Council, to permit Catholic Charities of San Diego to use a surplus Carlsbad
Municipal Water District office/trailer, as the office of the emergency shelter resident
manager. The modular in question has been valued at $5408.00, and according to
Water District staff, there are no future plans to use the facility. Based on the
information provided, staff is recommending the Carlsbad Municipal Water Board
donate the office trailer to Caring Residents of Carlsbad for use at the shelter.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Donation of the CMWD office trailer will have the effect of reducing Carlsbad
Municipal Water District assets by $5408.00, the book value of the trailer.
