RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of work and requests authorization for the Secretary of the
Board to record the Notice of Completion and for staff to release payment in full.
ITEM EXPLANATION
On July 7, 1992 the Board of Directors approved Resolution No. 801 x by adopting
Agenda Bill # 173 awarding a contract for the 1991-92 Water Meter Replacement Program
to Schlumberger Industries/Neptune Division, in the amount of $30,525.00. The replacement
project is an ongoing program to replace old and outdated meters which have become difficult
to read. The project began on August 10, 1992 and the work was subsequently completed on
August 21,1992, to the satisfaction of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District General Manager.
FISCAL IMPACT
Sufficient funds have been encumbered in Account No. 501-820-6310-2489 for payment in full
on the program.
