COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE
Staff recommends Commission consider scheduling one meeting per month and that meeting
be scheduled on a specific day and time.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
In the past the Commission has scheduled two meetings per month, on the 2nd and 4th
Wednesdays at 2:OO P.M.
In recent months, due to lack of agenda items various meetings have been canceled. At the
request of some commissioners, it is recommended that the Commission meet once a month and
that the Commission set the particular day and time.
One meeting will be sufficient to address many of the specific issues that come before the
Commission. If, however, an item needs to be addressed and a recommendation be made to the
Board of Directors, an additional meeting can be scheduled and noticed. It would be much
more efficient to have a specific meeting date set and call additional meetings as required, than
to cancel various Commission meetings on an irregular schedule due to lack of an agenda.
