RECOMMENDED ACTION:
CWA presentation on 10 day emergency storage policy.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The San Diego County Water Authority has adopted a policy on encouraging its member
agencies to secure an emergency 10 day storage supply. This 10 day supply would provide the
Authority an increased ability to shut down CWA pipelines for periodic maintenance and
repairs.
CWA staff will be making a presentation at this meeting to explain the policy and to answer any
questions the Commission may have.
