PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS OF
SHEICO USA - PD 441
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 9 32 to accept the public improvements, authorize the
Secretary to record the Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State
Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has requested
Carlsbad Municipal Water District (CMWD) to accept the public improvements. City forces
have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory. Staff
recommends formal acceptance by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District.
The public improvements constructed consist of installation of waterline, water service and
fire hydrants.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Carlsbad Municipal Water District will be required to maintain the public improvements.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF
CARLSBAD, CAUFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PUBUC IMPROVEMENTS,
AUTHORIZING THE SECRETARY TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
AND RELEASING THE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW AND CITY
ORDINANCES FOR SHEICO USA - PD-441
WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of installation of waterline, water senrice
7 and fire hydrants located at the southeast corner of Faraday Avenue and Newton in the City of
8 Carlsbad, California, have been successfully completed.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
10 Municipal Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
11 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
12 2. That the construction of the above described public improvements is deemed
13 complete and hereby accepted.
14 3. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to record the Notice of Completion

following vote, to wit:
AYES: Board Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, fIal1
for said project and release the bonds.
4. That the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of the City of Carlsbad, California, is hereby
directed to commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of
the Carlsbad Municipal Water District held on the 23rd day of APRIL , 1996 by the
