’ CARLSBAD “UNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT- AGENDA BILL
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 9 3 3 _ to accept the public improvements, authorize the
Secretary to record the Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State
Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has requested
Carlsbad Municipal Water District (CMWD) to accept the public improvements. City forces
have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory. Staff
recommends formal acceptance by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District.
The public improvements constructed consist of installation of waterline and water service.
FISCAL IMPAM:
The Carlsbad Municipal Water District will be required to maintain the public improvements.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF
CARLSBAD, CAUFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS,
AUTHORIZING THE SECRETARY TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION AND RELEASING BONDS iN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE
LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES FOR CARLSBAD GOLF PRACTICE
FACILITY - PD 433.
6 WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of installation of waterline and water /
7 service located south of Haymar Drive and east of El Camino Real in the City of Carlsbad,
8 California, have been successfully completed.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad
Municipal Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1, That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the above described public improvements is deemed
complete and hereby accepted.
3. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to record the Notice of Completion
for said project and release the bonds.
4. That the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of the City of Carlsbad, California; is hereby
directed to commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said project.
