Adopt Resolution No. 9 Y 8 t o accept improvements located at the northeast comer of Kellogg
Avenue and Camino Vida Roble in the City of Carlsbad, California, authorize the Secretary to record
the Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
l’he developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has quested Carlsbad
Municipal Water District (CMWD) to accept the public improvements. City forces have inspected the
public improvements and found them to be satisfactory. StafF recommends formal acceptance by the
Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Carlsbad Municipal Water District will be required to maintain the public improvements.

2. Resolution No. 9 q 8 to accept improvements, authorize the Secretary to record the Notice
of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
OF EXHIBIT ART - PIP 95-03 - CMWD 95-203.
WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of installation of waterline, water service, and fire
hydrants located at the northeast comer of Kellogg Avenue and Camino Vida Roble in the City of Carlsbad,
California, have been successfully completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the above described public improvements is deemed complete and
hereby accepted.
3. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to record the Notice of Completion for said
project.
4. That the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of the City of Carlsbad, California, is hereby
directed to commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District held on the 25th day of June , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
