RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 953 to accept improvements located at the southeast
side of Kellogg Avenue and Camino Vida Roble in the City of Carlsbad, California,
authorize the Secretary to record the Notice of Completion and release bonds in
accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has requested
Carlsbad Municipal Water District (CMWD) to accept the public improvements. City forces
have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory. Staff
recommends formal acceptance by the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District.
The public improvements constructed consist of installation of waterline, water service and
fire hydrants.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Carlsbad Municipal Water District will be required to maintain the public improvements.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
OF EXHIBIT ART - PIP 95-01. CMWD 94-210.
WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of installation of waterline, water service, and fire
hydrants located at southeast side of Kellogg Avenue and C&no Vida Roble in the City of Carlsbad,
California, have been successfully completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the C&bad Municipal
Water District of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct. I
2. That the construction of the above described public improvements is deemed complete and
hereby accepted.
3. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to record the Notice of Completion for said
project and release bonds in accordance with State Law and District Codes.
4. That the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of C&bad, California, is hereby directed to
commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Carlsbad Municipal Water District held on them day of JULY , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
