This is an informational item and therefore there is no staff recommendation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Earlier this year the San Diego County Water Authority approved a staff recommendation to
undertake an alternative revenue/rate structure analysis. As a result, the Authority contracted
with A&N Technical Services to conduct an in depth Analysis of the Authority’s rate structure
and how this structure affects its member agencies.
There have been several workshops to date, both with the Board of Directors and with the
member agency managers. This staff presentation tonight will be an update of this study and
review some of the alternative rate structures.
