RECOMMENDED ACTION:
This is an informational item and there is no recommended action at this time.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The San Diego County Water Authority approved the addition of the Emergency Storage Project (ESP)
to the Capital Improvement Program on June 11, 1998. The ESP is being constructed in four phases:
Phase I includes Olivenhain Dam Pipeline and ,Pump Station; Phase II includes San Vicente Pipeline
and Pump Station; Phase Ill includes North County Pump Stations and Lake Hodges Pipeline and
Pump Station; and Phase IV includes San Vicente Dam Raise.
Staff will be presenting a brief update of the construction activities on this project at tonight’s
Board meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is an informational item and there is no fiscal impact at this time.
