INITIATING LITIGATION

That the Board of Directors, by motion, authorize a closed session to discuss the initiation of
litigation as follows:
Based on existing facts and circumstance, I move that the Board of
Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District hold a closed
session to discuss initiating litigation in one case pursuant to
Government Code section 54956.9(c).
