SUBJECT: CUP 93-02(A) -POINSETTIA COMMUTER RAIL STATION -A request by
staff to amend a Conditional Use Permit for the North San Diego County Transit
Development Board (NSDCTDB) Poinsettia Commuter Rail Station due to
resident complaints and failure to exercise the CUP consistent with its terms.
RECOMMENDATION
That the Planning Commission CONTINUE CUP 93-02(A) to the Planning Commission
meeting of October 2, 1996.
BACKGROUND
This item was scheduled to be heard at the September 4, 1996 meeting and was continued to the
meeting of September 18, 1996. Staff has continued to meet with representatives from the North
San Diego County Transit Development Board (NSDCTDB) and the residents of Lanikai Lane
Mobile Home Park. Staff is, satisfied that NSDCTDB has worked to comply with the conditions
of their CUP and will make a formal report to the Planning Commission on October 2, 1996.
In addition, the results of a meeting with both Lanikai Lane residents and NSDCTDB held on
August 28 will be reported.
