Subject: Sustainable Mobility Plan Ad-Hoc Committee: Change in committee membership
Recommended Action Staff recommends the Traffic and Mobility Commission approve replacement of Vice Chair Perez with Chair Gocan on the Sustainable Mobility Plan (SMP) Ad Hoc Committee
Discussion
On April 6, 2020, the Traffic and Mobility Commission first reviewed the Sustainable Mobility Plan
and directed staff to create an ad hoc committee composed of Commissioner Perez,
Commissioner Linke, and Commissioner Penseyres to work with staff to revised and update the
document. Since this time the ad hoc committee has provided review and oversight regarding
the update of the SMP. Vice Chair Perez has recently requested to step down from the ad hoc
committee due to active involvement with the city’s Housing Element update and requested that
Chair Gocan assume his role on the SMP ad hoc committee.
Next Steps
The designated Commissioner will replace Vice Chair Perez on the SMP Ad-Hoc Committee
