Subject: Informational update on striping on Palomar Airport Road at the Costco
driveway

Information only.
Background and Discussion
On November 5, 2018, staff presented to Traffic Safety Commission an informational item on
the Right Turn Lanes adjacent to Bike Lanes as it pertained to the existing striping on eastbound
Palomar Airport Road in the vicinity of Armada Drive/Costco Entrance. Staff will present a
proposed plan to address some of the concerns that were discussed in November.
Necessary Council Action
None.
Next Steps
A work order will be issued to have our Streets Maintenance staff implement the proposed
plan.
