The meeting was called to order by Chairman Walters at
7:30 P.M« Present besides the Chairman were Commissioners Jeffers,
Haerkle^ Sahelske and Merkle* Also present were Mr* and Mrs* GliS3manp
Bill Torres and Secretary Bwald.
Chairman Walters explained the purpose of the meeting was
to consider a recommendation to the Council of a bond issue to be
placed on the "pril 8 ballot, He then called upon Secretary Ewald to
explain the suggested amount of the bond issue and the reasons for
considering the recommendation to the Council at this time0
Mr. Gilssman raised objections to following the Patterson
recommendation on the acquisition of land. After considerable dis-
cussion a motion was made by Commissioner Haeri:le that the Harbor
Commission send a memorandum to the City Council for its January ?
meeting recommending that a revenue bond issue in the amount of
&3»000j®00 be placed on the April 8 ballot» Seconded by Commissioner
Schelske« The vote was all ayes.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:^5 P»H*
