The minutes of the regular meeting of Oct0 27, 195C were approved
as reado
Memo from City Council regarding 5 HPH speed limits.
It was brought to the attention of the Commission vj l'r«
Howard Xarbro ugh of the Boat and Ski Club tliat they and
the Sailing Club hoped to come up with a joint proposal
in the near future0 The City Council requested the
Harbor Commission to reconsider this matter s.nd report
back to the Council,,
After discussion it was decided by the Commission to
hold this taatter in abeyance pen-ing the recommendations
from the Boat and Ski Club and the Sailing Club0
A0 Alan Kelly presented a plan to develop the harbor under
private enterprise,, Mr0 Kelly was asked to present
more detailed information at a later meeting and to
work with C]nn0 Betzmer and Cmn0 Lamb on this matter
Bc Mayor Ledge:mood reported on meeting with the San Diego
Gas and Electric Co0 officials,
A0 It was moved by Cmru Betzmer8 seconded by Cmns Jeffers
asd passed unanimously to hold in abeyance the request
for appraisal of Lagoon Property 0
It was agreed that the next meeting scheduled for November <
1958 might be readjusted to allow Hr0 Stevens to be present,
Upon proper motion the meeting was adjounedo
