CALL TO ORDER:
Chairperson Hayes called the Meeting to order at 4:Ol p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Chairperson Hayes, Committee Members Norby, mcCoy, Mikhael, Palmesi, Rombotis, and Densham.
Absent: Committee Members Helton and McMahon
Staff: Chris Salomone, Patricia Cratty, and Amy Villalobos
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Meeting held June 27, 1988, were
approved as presented.
NEW BUSINESS/INFORMATION:
1. HOUSING TOUR:
Item trailed to end.
2. WORKSHOP QUESTIONNAIRE:
Chairperson Hayes stated that the same questionnaire that had been handed out at the June
meeting was sent to former members who could not
attend. Ms. Hayes asked that a copy be sent to
Member Rombotis.
Chairperson Hayes explain the prioritization. Chairperson Hayes stated that pedestrian circulation; parking; traffic congestion; curbs, gutters and sidewalks and enforcement were rated the highest priority. Member McCoy stated that if people were concerned with traffic and pedestrian
circulation the City should release funds to do improvements for curb, gutter and sidewalks. Chairperson Hayes ask that this be put on the August agenda.
Member Norby asked that
Member McCoy asked if a contractor could be retained to do the curbs, gutters and sidewalks. Staff responded that this was not feasible.
Member McCoy asked staff to try to expedite the
Block Grant project to install curbs, gutters and
sidewalks.
3. SUB-COMMITTEES:
Chairperson Hayes asked for reports from sub-
committees on setting meetings. Member Norby stated the Long Range Planning sub-committee would meet Thursday, July 28, 8:OO a.m. in the Redevelopment Office. Member Mikhael, Housing
Meeting is being set; Member Densham, Finance Committee will be set within the next ten days;
member McCoy, Design meeting to be set; Member
Rombotis, Parking Committee will be August 16,
9:30 a.m. in Redevelopment Office.

1. HOUSING TOUR:
Committee toured the city noting various types of
units available to participants of the Housing Program. Building Inspector Peterson explained to the Committee the types of items that are required for a unit to meet the Housing Quality Standards.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Meeting of July 25, 1988,
was adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
